Cheap Chicago to London Flight

Now is the time to start planning if y'all want to visit. Especially if you don't yet have a passport.
But money is the biggest hurdle, of course. Not so much for the parents, but for our younger, less established friends and family members.

The price of the ticket will decide whether a lot of MegaMart regulars can make it, I know, so I'm looking out for good deals.

I found a round-trip ticket on CheapTickets.com for a $289 Air India flight departing in mid-May and going back to the states in mid-June. It's the cheapest I've seen in a while. I think the CheapTickets trick is to travel on Tuesdays and stay for a couple weeks.

I flew Air India the first time I came to London five years ago for about that price. I imagine it would be much the same as visiting the place itself: very crowded, with excellent food. But it got me across the ocean and back just fine.

Marty and I might not be able to take the whole time off when people visit, but that might not be so bad if you come in groups.

I want to come in mid-Feb. Still working on the details. I can't stay for a month though.

Cool. I just suggested those times because that's the cheapest flight I found; I know money's always tight. And I wanted to let people know that it might be within their reach, since some people have told me that it would definitely be too expensive for them. But at that price they may be able to afford it.

That is a really good deal, we're totally going to come visit you sometime this year.

Also, Brittany and I would like to pull you back to this country by offering him a much-coveted groomsman spot in our wedding. It's October 27th, and we'd love to see you two there.

If you wanna fly in comfort and class I must recommend Britsh Airways; they never fail to deliver.

Their prices can be reasonable too.

Don't fly Air India!!! I did it, it was horrible.... you seriously do not want to be in a confined space with 400 people who had curry the night before.

I hope you get lots of visits though - always nice to have people to show around London and remind you how old and wonderful some of it is.
