Ahhh aaahaa..AHHH aah. Oh waaay Oh oh.

++++++++++++++++++++++Some updates+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

*Mendy loaned us the box sets of pretty much every season of Felicity. Remember Felicity? If you do, you were way cooler than I was. Marty and I are entrenched in a marathon, and have the following observations: Felicity's haircut makes her look like a bull dyke, not that anything's wrong with that. Noel's character is nothing but a vehicle for various techie product placements. He actually falls in love with someone because she's a "Mac Person." You are allowed to roll your eyes. Ben is a prototype for Ryan Atwood. Her roommate, Megan, is really really funny. Watching it is like stepping into a time capsule of my junior and senior year of high school, the two best years of my life. If the coach would a put me in the fourth quarter, we woulda gone to state. The blog title is a reference to the ultra-90s theme song, that Marty and I mock pretty much constantly.

*I still like my job. Marty still works all the time, but usually gets home by 9 p.m.

* Now that I work and have been interacting with people, I've decided that the cultural shock of moving to London is only about 25% more shocking than moving to the Deep South. Still testing that theory, so more on that later.

*Staying up for the Super Bowl was really hard, and made us tired for like the whole week.

*We take Yoga now. Marty likes to pretend he's a warrior training for battle.

*We bought big red couches on super-sale. Like 70 percent off sale. They should be delivered in like three weeks. Sweeeeeeeeet.

* We're taking a weekend trip to a sea town called Portsmouth in a month to see the Eagles of Death Metal. Rock! Later this month or next, we hope to go to someplace cheap and foreign with the Potunkeys.

*This is a very blurry picture of me. As you can see, my hair is really long. Too long. I think I'm going to cut it short soon.

You can take the train to Portsmouth, all the way! It goes past Milford/Godalming (where the Holiday was shot). I wouldn't describe Portsmouth as a seaside town, really. I mean, it is by the sea, but it's more of a port city than a seaside resort. It ain't pretty.

I love Felicity and have two of the seasons on dvd. I'm not ashamed of my love for her, but you're right; she did go through some questionable hair stages, much like you are now. One of my favorite episodes is when she loses her virginity to Eli (Simon Rex) in an art studio and then Noel gets sad.

I too got sucked into the Felicity vortex- while pregnant no less. Her roomate was always my favorite. I do love that teenage angst- but only because adult angst just sounds weird.
