How Do You Spell Fieval Mousekewitz?
After working late on Friday Megan and I decided to stay in and chill. We busted out the Felicity and relished the final uncomfortable days of sitting on our old "couch." Our new babies are being delivered on Monday sometime between 8am and 5pm. They are so cute. After we'd had our fill of college melodrama we got nostalgic and turned to youtube to quench our needs. We looked up clips from Aladdin, American Tail, The Muppet Show. I'm pretty sure it started with a challenge to the credibility or accuracy of a claim I made, and soon escalated to a full blown internet fight.
For those that don't know, bickering over matters of fact is as relevant as putting a stamp on something and mailing it. When a claim of fact is asserted by one party and disputed by a second there is no longer a need to start quoting sources and yelling about proofs and disproofs. Instead one party must simply declare, "internet fight!" Both parties head to the nearest computer termanl, Google the argument topic, and the victor declares a smug, "in your face!" Argument over.
Megan and I went out to see "Hot Fuzz" yesterday and had a raucous good time. The movie, while not quite "Shawn of the Dead" quality, did not disappoint. Simon Pegg has not yet done me any wrongs, and I am a pretty judgmental media viewer. We headed home after our dinner-and-a-movie and finished off season three of Felicity. I know what you're thinking, and it is a little sick how much we're watching that show. I don't know if any of you have ever been addicted to anything like heroine or crack but it can't be worse than old trash WB shows. I wake up at night with the jitters and just need to see Ben and Felicity fight one time before I can sleep again. I really need to write out a huge post about Felicity and Lost, my theories for both and how they relate to each other, and maybe mention the sinking fear that Felicity, with it's gaping plot holes and character inconsistencies, gives me about Lost. I promise I'll do it soon, but be warned it will be disturbingly long.
Anyway, we're off to eat some Japanese food to psych us up for Megan's trip, and pick up a few necessities for the apartment. Happy birthday Caleb and Cassie, hopefully your super-party is/was fun.

Missed you guys.
Megan, have fun in Tokyo.
For the record, I think "trash" WB shows is a little harsh, dude. I've quite warmed to her, really.
Number 1: The WB should definitely be reviewed by the FDA; I have reason to believe it has addictive properties.
Part B: Fievel Mousekewitz has now reared his ugly mouse head twice in as many weeks. At Lily's b-day party, he was one of the celebrity names put in the hat during our game or Celebrities. Include that in your dissertation on Lost, Felicity and the Media.
