Would you like a side of racism with that?

We're two working stiffs who spend too much time at the office, so we get our groceries delivered to avoid falling into the gross and expensive habit of ordering Thai every night. We have to take stock of our shipment to make sure it's all there. This week's plan is to make guacamole. Yum. For that, you need:

Lots of delicious avocados. Check:

Essential tomatoes. Yes:

Throw in some onions. Yeah got plenty:

Cilantro (called coriander here). Ok, got it.:

But wait what's missing? Oh of course, an incredibly stereotypical Mexican from a past era (1940s?) to help make it! Good thing we didn't forget to order him.

That's the tortilla chip bag designed by the Wal-Mart of England, Tesco. It's like a Horatio Sanz SNL character. Pretty amazing.

Racism?
Strong term for that picture. Culturally insensitive, yeah.
But, for all we know, this package was designed by a latina from Cancun. It could be her "portly-male-ism" showing.

Racist. Astonishingly so, in fact.

Did you eat the chips? Racism is one thing but eating it is quite another...
