Czech Please

When I sat down to write an update last time I didn't get past the intro. Part of the reason I decided to cut it short was because I thought a couple easy to read chunks might be better than one daunting wall of text. Of course I had intended to follow up on the info yesterday... but given our recent track record, I'll mark one-day-late in the on-time column.

Megan and I took a trip to Prague a week and a bit ago and had a blast. Prague is a beautiful city and it was nice to get away from the busy winding streets of London to the quaint and quiet winding streets of the Czech Republic. We highly recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

The only downside of a place this nice to visit is that a lot of people are there visiting. Megan and I are not fans of wading through tourists, nor are we very keen to plod along with the masses to scarf down a pre-packaged experience (though I must admit that I have grown to love audio tours). Instead we bounded around the city early on in the day, taking in all the sights we could manage to appreciate in a day, then we plopped down on some cafe seats and stayed there for the next five hours. Sometimes the best way to see a city is to just sit there.

You stole that pun from Gels.

Glad you had fun. See you soon (we better).

How I long for the days of yore, when the days were filled with post after post of friends and frolicking, meanderings and mischief, couches and the commonplace.

Come on back, old friends. I think you miss me too.

Sincerely,
