We... Live... AGAIN!!!

It's been a while. Things have been far from quite here, as silent as we've been.

First up, Tom and Britteny have trumped the rest of you noobs and actually came and visited us. Megan had a business trip three days and I had to work 'til 1am one of the days they were here, but they didn't miss a beat and ended up taking me to some cool places in London I'd never seen. Thanks guys! It was a blast... and the Magic: the Gathering tourney I went to the day you left was fun. ;)

Then, Megan hurt her ankle in a spectacular walking accident. See, she was walking to get a glass of water at work and then she down. People from her office rushed to her aide (which she hates) and offered to get her things (which she also hates) and THEN rode with her in the taxi to the emergency room (which mortified her). See Megan hates people doting on her. She's an independent spirit who embarrasses easily, so the whole ordeal was pretty much her worst nightmare. The doctors called her a week later to tell her that her ankle might be chipped... then the second doctor told her that the "chip" was just another bone in her ankle and that the first doctor was probably on illicit drugs when he diagnosed it.

We helped our friends Mike and Chad move the last weekend. (Mike's blog Moaksey is liked to the right) There's nothing that lets you know you have some real friends like doing something that sounds so terrible on paper and having a good time doing it. We went to a Vietnamese place for lunch that almost sprained my delicious gland. It was well enough to do Vietnamese food again the next day though. Seriously, how did Thai food become so ever present, and Vietnamese food got nothing?

We went and saw Iron Man, and boy did it rock. Comic fans, make sure you stay after the credits for a little fan boy awesomeness. Be warned though, the credits are like 20 minutes long. As for the movie itself, RDJ was a great Tony Stark and they struck a great balance between all the characters. The shunned a few cliches to keep us guessing, nut embraces enough that it still had the feel good action movie feel. It plays in the same league as Batman Begins and X-Men 2 and is worth the trip to see it.

We also got Wii Fit and are using it to stay in shape. Having an animated telling you you need to work out more is a surprisingly good motivator. For fun we picked up MArio Kart, and we've been racing around on that too. It's less of a work out, but a tad more fun.

Tom and Erin (who you have all watched rock a wedding for like the last forever) are coming to visit in June, and we're looking forward to that. This year is the year of Mega-Mart, it was forseen, and it is now coming to pass. We can't wait to see those two so we can remember what it was like to be a newlywed. Ha ha, JK we still act like we just met!

Well the intimidating first-post-in-way-too-long-how-do-I-say-everything post is over. Hopefully we can make this a more regular occurrence.

p.s. Hillary Clinton, you lose. At life. Get over it.

An update! Hurrah!

Thanks for helping with the move. Couldn't have done it without you guys.

We've eaten Vietnamese almost every day now... Bad, in such a good way...

Marty I'm glad we didn't make you miss the Magic Tournament. Picking the diner we already knew was cash-only was probably not the most strategic choice that morning. I thought we'd never scrub enough dishes to pay off that bill...
